Fresh Pond will be closed on 4/20

Dear Friends and Customers:

We have an employee at our 110 Fawcett Street, Cambridge location who received a positive test result for COVID-19 today.  He has not been to work at Rev Clinics since April 14th, is asymptomatic, works internally at the store and does not come in contact with patients.

As a result and for everyone’s safety, we have shut down the 110 Fawcett Street, Cambridge location, and have scheduled another deep clean for tomorrow morning. Again, we have hired a specialized COVID-19 sanitization and disinfection service that uses a patented EPA approved process that destroys COVID-19 with a 99.9% effective rate in under 4 minutes.

Our Fawcett Street location will remain closed tomorrow on 4/20 as all staff that work there will be getting tested and quarantined as a precautionary measure. We hope to re-open as soon as possible with other staff members so that we may continue to safely serve you.

In the meantime, please place your orders with our 541 Mass Ave, Cambridge or our 67 Broadway, Somerville location. Both facilities will have extended hours tomorrow until 8PM to handle your needs.

Thank you,

Your friends at Rev Clinics

  1. What will happen with the product that the individual who has tested positive for COVID 19 , had been working with does that product get destroyed, how does that part of your disinfecting happen . I haven’t heard anything in regards to how you treat possibilities regarding contaminated products moving forward. Thank you for what seems quick action and your openness and willingness to be as transparent as possible. Best of luck to the young man who has been infected and the rest of your staff at all of your facilities. I have bought products at the Fawcett st facility and always have been happy with the product and service. Be well be safe .

    1. Thank you for you thoughtful response to our situation. Please know that we spend a lot of time and effort disinfecting all of our locations for the safety of our employees and customers. This is done by staff all day long as well as through professional services on a regular basis. We require our employees to wear masks, social distance at all times and to constantly apply hand disinfectant and wear gloves when appropriate. Even with all these measures of safety we encourage all of our customers to take the same precautions that they would with the groceries that get delivered to their home or pick up at the grocery store. Everyone treats these precautions differently, but the CDC recommends these precautions around shopping for groceries and other essential supplies, which we support : https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/daily-life-coping/essential-goods-services.html

Thanks for your note and patronage. Stay safe!

      Your friends at Rev Clinics.

  2. Thank you for your honesty and good luck
    I too have a concern
I was at the store an hour before you closed on Tuesday Obviously I got product and stupidly didn’t think to Disinfect after taking out of bag
    How worried should I be

    1. The person within our staff who tested positive is not someone that handles product. He is not part of the fulfillment team, and as such had no direct contact with any of our product. We also work really hard to constantly wipe down surfaces with disinfectant, we have received professional cleanings at night, all employees are required to wear masks, socially distance and follow all CDC guidelines for safety. While no one can ensure 100% protection against this virus, we do feel that our facilities are a safe as any in the “essential service” business.

      1. Thank you
