MEET MIKE!
What is your name/Where are you from?
- Michael F, MA.
What is your position at Rev?
- Retail Manager.
How long have you worked in the Cannabis Industry/at Rev?
- Over 6 years.
What is your favorite flower strain and why?
- Pakistani Chitral Kush! Specifically for its sedating and relaxing nature of the smoke. You quite literally melt into the couch. That is my favorite experience while smoking.
What is your favorite Rev product and why?
- Ice Cream Cake strain, it has been incredibly terpy and crossed from two other strains I love as well in Wedding Cake and Gelato 33. I long for a relaxing strain that makes you melt in the couch like the lady from the old truth commercials.
What are your hobbies outside of cannabis?
- To be honest I don’t have a ton of outside cannabis hobbies but the biggest one is dodgeball. I play dodgeball and do some tournaments across the country when time permits. It’s a lot of fun and you meet tons of people from all over.
What is your favorite part about working in the cannabis industry?
- Honestly it’s helping people and seeing how that impacts them. I have been lucky enough to do this for a long time and have had humbling and uplifting feedback from some patients and rec customers alike. Those instances make even the worse days feel lighter and more manageable.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
- I have been growing weed for a while and have some unique crosses with old school feel to them. I love creating new strains and seeing how these crosses pair up and what comes from them. You would be surprised at how many variances there can be from crossing two strains together.
What makes you happy?
- All sort of things could apply here but I do look forward to seeing my dog every day after work. There is nothing like making Capone’s day when I walk in the door. (lol I wish I had that effect on everyone).
Do you have a personal motto or favorite expression?
- “Play stupid games and win stupid prizes,” I know not the greatest or most inspirational but it’s fitting for life in many ways.
Do you have a nickname? (If not, what would you like it to be?)
- My last name is my nickname lol I guess simply because everyone knows more than a few Michaels and Mikes in their lives. I do have some from the military as well but not entirely sure they are always appropriate so we will stick to that one lol.
